THE COURSE
Dana, I wanted to thank you for such an exciting and informative course. I especially enjoyed the two "hands-on" days where we gained
practical experience in hanging artwork and repositioning furniture. As you know, I have taken other staging courses. However, what puts your PRES course above other staging courses I have taken is the support that you offer after the course is over. Your monthly PRES meetings are invaluable, as you offer an environment where other PRES stagers are there to offer support and encouragement. Also, becoming a "gold" member has given me the opportunity to perfect my hands-on staging skills, and knowing I can call you for advice when I'm needing some extra help has been an extraordinary help. Day 1 - The Classroom
- '10 Step Staging & Redesign Room-by-Room' Formula
- The psychology of working collaboratively with home owners, realtors and sellers.
- The fundamentals of Decorating, professional decorators advice on colour schemes, elements and principles of design, trends, and more.
Day 2 & 3 – The Client's Home:
- Client consultation - determine which rooms you will be working in for either a home makeover for living, or staging for selling
- Hands on - apply what you have learned in a real client's home.
- Learn how to evaluate the length of time a job will take, the manpower needed, the tools required (furnishings, truck rentals etc) to complete the job to the client's satisfaction
- Discover how professionals rearrange furniture, add and/or delete accessories and/or collections. Then put your skills into action.
- Designers are experts in hanging art. Learn how to do it right and the right tools to use.
- Uncover a wealth of "on the job" trade secrets that only the professionals know.
- Start your marketing portfolio. You take your own photos and client's provide great testimonials
Sun on My back redesign training course was fun and exciting. During our course we had a lot of practical "hands on" training.
